On the heels of one of the most successful NBRC Conventions ever, I would like to acknowledge all those members of the NBRC who contributed to the success of this year’s Fall Fly in the face of the adversity that we were forced to deal with as an organization and as a hobby: to all the flyers in their steadfast commitment to put their birds up to be scored; to the judges whom we can never thank enough for the giving of their personal resources in order to score our kits; and to the NBRC, undaunted in its support of its members and its commitment to flying competition rollers.

One north east (England) pigeon loft hit the headlines in 1998 when English Heritage gave it Grade II listed status. Now the original dispute, the owner of the land that the allotments stand wished to develop the site and evict the residents, has resurfaced.
